Cashtrak was established in 2006 by Carol Webb Fellow of the ICB (Institute of Certified Bokkeepers). Carol realised the bookkeeping industry was rigid and wanted clients to have the services that they wanted them to have whether or not all services were utilised so Carol saw a gap in the market for flexible bookkeeping, providing as little or as much bookkeeping as the client wanted and hasn’t looked back since! We have come a long way since then and Cashtrak employ a number of staff now who work seamlessly to ensure our clients receive a better service than anywhere else.

Along the way we have picked up a lot of awards including two ICB LUCAS (the Oscars of the bookkeeping world!) and we are the first to win a LUCA for best bookkeeping practice twice!

We have experiences of many industries, individuals, sole traders, charities, limited companies and a whole lot more. We have a close relationship with Xero (our favoured bookkeeping software) and are usually on their BETA testing meaning our clients get the new features first!

We pride ourselves in being available to our clients whenever they need us and work very closely to fit in as part of their team rather than expecting the client to fit in with us, we see ourselves as an extension of our client's business.

Managing Director 

Behind every efficient business is an efficient operator and in this case it's Cashtrak's founder and owner, Carol Webb.

When Carol launched Cashtrak some years ago, to meet the specific needs of sole traders and SME's, she brought with her a vast range of hands-on experience in a variety of different industry sectors from pensions to engineering, manufacturing to importing. She also worked as Finance Manager for a venture capital sponsored, software development company. She is, as she cheerfully admits, positively obsessive compulsive when it comes to detail but adds, on the good side, she's never come across a mess she can't sort.

Her experience with a range of different sizes of business gives her a broad insight into some of the unique challenges and problems faced by small companies. As a Certified Bookkeeper, authorised to work in public practice by the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers, a Sage Accountants club member, and Xero Certified Advisor, Carol decided she'd be ideally placed to offer a service dealing, not only with the all the day to day practicalities, but also offering an advisory and systems planning services, enabling SME's to optimise their opportunities without huge expenditure.

Head of Client Services and Development

Winner of the ICB LUCA Award for Employed Bookkeeper of the year 2014, Aaron has over a decade of experience working within an Insurance Accounts environment. After completing the full range of ICB Membership qualifications Aaron has decided he would like to gain experience in a practice environment. What better place than Cashtrak on a Part Time basis. Hoping to put his IT skills, Bookkeeping enthusiasm and bubbly personality to good use!

Having gained a Distinction in his Level IV Diploma in Advanced Bookkeeping and Accounting, FRS105 module, it is Aaron that takes care of our accounts submissions, working on year ends that fall under the FRS105 rules.

Jo Carro

Client Account Services

Jo has many years bookkeeping experience working with SMEs and is a member of the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers. After taking a short break from bookkeeping, she worked in a primary school assisting teaching with maths and English. Whilst Jo enjoyed her time at the school she is happy to be back in the bookkeeping world and looking forward to progressing her bookkeeping qualifications.

In her spare time, Jo is a Scout Section Leader for Beavers, enjoys rock music and is learning to play the guitar. We're not sure how she fits it all in!

Caroline Cant

Client Account and Payroll Services

Caroline is our newest member of staff, she is an experienced bookkeeper with a passion for payroll. Caroline is qualified to level 3 in Bookkeeping and Payroll with the ICB and is currently studying towards her self-assessment exam

Stacey Woodford

Head of Operations

Stacey is responsible for the day-to-day management of Cashtrak, working closely with Carol to ensure the smooth running of the organisation and enable Cashtrak to provide a first class service to our clients.

Stacey has many years of management and administration experience across a variety of sectors and is a qualified electronics engineer so can provide technical support if needed.

She enjoys playing badminton, travel, football and has volunteered at her local Beaver group. 

Marianne Deards

Admin Assistant

Marianne supports Cashtrak with a combination of admin work internally and for clients. Having a secretarial background she worked as a Personal Assistant at Managing Director level and has also assisted with bookkeeping and secretarial work from home and can turn her hand to most tasks when required. If any client would like admin support as well as bookkeeping you will probably be working with Marianne and her strong admin skills to get you on track.
